Programs & Classes
Zoo Tots
Zoo Tot classes combine an “on your own exploratory” playtime featuring crafts, sensory bins and educational stations, along with structured circle time, sing-a-long and an animal encounter. Play activities are incorporated into each Zoo Tot class in order to foster science learning by encouraging observation, exploration, and discovery.
Zoo to You
Zoo To You Outreach Animal Programs are available within Minot and the surrounding North Dakota community. Programs are designed for any type of group interested in learning more about animals. The focus of Zoo To You is educating participants on wildlife understanding, physical characteristics and adaptations, as well as conservation awareness. Our programs are suited for all ages and audience types. Programs can be offered in a formal and informal setting. Zoo to You is also available for on-site programs.
School's Out day camp
When school is out, camp is in! Join Roosevelt Park Zoo for our School’s Out Day Camp featuring themed activities designed to foster exploration, and encourage learning through observation and discovery. Campers will participate in games, activities and crafts, zoo walks, meet one of the zoo’s ambassador animals plus much more.
